I know that I’m addicted to my phone, not to my social media, social media is just the first thing that pops up when I get my hand on my phone.

A beautiful experiment I tried, is to go out without my phone, I just walk out of the door with my keys and money, I go to a restaurant, I wait, I order food, I wait for my food, I enjoy my food, and then go for a walk before heading home.

My brain is exhausted with the amount of inputs it gets all day, so it uses all the waiting time to clean a bit of the daily noise. Not gonna lie, often, I reach into my pocket to get to my phone lol.

Today’s time without phone was maybe 2 hours, and I can say it wasn’t enough. It wasn’t even enough for mind to rest, let alone my thoughts to appear.

Having these breaks from electronics is important for one’s mental health.
